This week I will be heading to the mission office in Fuengirola and finishing my time as a full time missionary. I know that at this point it would be nice if I could say everything that I've learned but I don't think I have enough time or the words to type it all out. I have looked back on this past year and a half of my life and feel immensely blessed. I feel so blessed of the time and effort that the Lord has put into helping me. If I have learned anything on the mission its that I have so much to learn. I have had the chance to learn for each and everyone one of my wonderful companions. Starting with my wonderful trainer Hermana Ashby who taught me that you can work hard and have fun at the same time and was also so patient with me. Hermana Smith who came from
Malaga and helped me see the importance of diligence and perseverance. Hermana Merrill who helped me learn the importance of obedience as we walked up and down the hills of the outskirts of Malaga. My dear Hermana Viglione who showed me the importance of truly loving the people and showed me how we can learn if we truly have humility. Hermana Gale who helped me learn patience in the pueblo of Valdapeñas as we knocked on every house possible. My adventure of starting Elche
up again with Hermana Jenkins who helped me learn how to keep calm and centered in every situation and realizing yet again that you learn so much more than you teach in training. Then heading to Alicante with my trio and having the chance to soak up the knowledge of Hermana Jones
and then getting to be with Hermana Anderson for 4 months as she taught me how to constantly work on our weaknesses to make them strengths and end with Hermana Swenson as she shows me how to keep going and always have fire to do the work. I don't know where I would be with out these wonderful Hermanas. They really have become my sisters and I feel so blessed to have had the chance to be taught by each if them. I know that I am who I am because they Lord allowed them to guide me. I love being a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints here in the south of Spain and even though people may not be able to recognize me by the name tag I'm wearing I will
make sure they recognize me by the spirit that I leave with them. Thank you all for the support that y'all have given me from my time out here.

See you soon!
ride. This week passed by so quickly. I feel like I say that fairly
often but this week it went by even faster. You might ask how that
is possible and to be honest I have no clue. We started out the week
meeting with various people such as our friend Tom who we found while
offering to hold the door for him as he carried a heavy box, the
family of our friend Elena who came with us to the relief society
breakfast last week and our dear dear Lina who broke the news to us
that she was going to be starting a job interna, which means she works
almost everyday from about 8 to 9 but she wants to ask her boss if we
can come by while she works and then our friend Ness who is the friend
of a member from our ward. We had a lesson with her about the
restoration last night and as we finished the lesson she asked if she
could offer the prayer and told us that she wants to come to church
this next week so she can see for herself if this message is true.
All of these people are so sweet and I'm so grateful that they have
opened their homes and hearts to us. I know that not every single one
of them will end up choosing to enter into the waters of baptism but
I'm so grateful I've had the chance to share with them at least a
small part of the message of the gospel. On Friday afternoon and
Saturday morning we had intercambios with the Elche Hermanas. We asked
them before if there was anything we could do for them before and they
answered with brownies. So we kicked off the intercambios with some
brownie making because Hermana Swenson is a brownie pro. You haven't
had a real brownie until you've had Hermana Swenson's brownie's. I
loved the time that I got to spend with these Hermanas to hear their
points of view and see how much they've changed since the last time
they came. Then Saturday afternoon was GENERAL CONFERENCE! I loved
every moment! On Sunday a member from our ward offered to feed
everyone in our district between sessions. The ward takes such good
care of us. Then later the elders made crepes for all! We ended up
watching most of the sessions in Spanish, it was so interesting to
remember the first time I tried watching in Spanish and could only
catch half of what the speakers were saying. I have to say that after
this general conference I have really felt the push to serve and the
desire to really reach out and share the blessings I have with others
so that one day the Lord can say " she hath wrought a good work". Find
ways to serve in your community or even in your family this week!
I love this good news that I can share with others that my savior
lives and through his sacrifice we can became better people everyday.

That's right folks, the jacket is officially in the closet and the sun is out and about. On Tuesday we had district meeting like normal and then ate chili as a district. I love this district because it's so United. Everyone is worried about everyone else and we all know each other's miracles, investigators and preocupaciones. It's like a tiny family. After district meeting we had intercambios with the Albacete. I was with the wonderful Hermana Nuñez and we were able to teach our new friend Elijah who is a Colombian Jew. At the end of the lesson he told us that he needed to go but wanted to know when could he meet with us again. This week we tried to focus on working with members and it worked. I love when members have animo to share the gospel with their friends. On Saturday we went to a Relief Society breakfast and so we were trying to find someone to come with us so we decided to call a lady who they had contacted a couple of months ago who said that she would be interested in the future so we called and she came! And she loved it! All the women were super loving to Her and we got to eat some biscocho. Other than that nothing too crazy. It was Semana Santa here so we enjoyed the processions as they passed our street because we live in centro and so we are expecting people to be a little bit more open this week! I'm so grateful to have this time to be out here during Easter and tell people the joy of the Savior's ministry and sacrifice for us. He lives! I hope you all have a wonderful week and prepare for General Conference! If you don't know what that is refer to this link.
Hello!

So this week we started out by deciding that we were going to go running in the mornings. So far so good but then again it's only been a couple of days. On Tuesday we had district meeting and one of the Hermanas gave a wonderful talk on patience. The next day we went over to Murcia for a District Leader meeting that the Assistants to the President invited us to and even though it wasn't geared specifically towards us, we learned so much about the importance of leadership. We really focused on that leaders can't let their wants get in the way but focus on the needs of others. Leadership is a service. Miracle of the week, we were able to meet with our investigator Nina this week and as we went up we were met by her son and nephew. It was wonderful because we were able to teach all three of them and they were very excited to see us again. This week I have really thought a lot about the importance of how the spirit speaks to us and real intent. How important is it that we have the desire to know what our Heavenly Father has planned for us! I'm so grateful for everyday that I have out here in Spain. Challenge of the week: go watch the new video for Easter!

So we drove down to Malaga with the same group. It was a good consejo we talked a lot about developing Christ like attributes. The spirit was so strong as we listened to several missionaries as told stories of people they knew that exhibited certain qualities. I was really struck by Elder Quispe telling us a story about the great charity that his brother has for everyone around him. At consejo President Andersen told Hermana Anderson and I about some crazy changes coming to our area. I'm being transferred! So, he said that they are changing the SHE area and Hermana Anderson will be staying in our area and training and I will be transferred to a far away land called Barrio 2. So I'm going to the other ward in Alicante with Hermana Swenson and that will be the new SHE area. On the way back we saw snow in Granada!
It was great because I got to be with Hermana Jenkins. Then in the morning I was with Hermana Watkins and we met this awesome guy that is from Finland and studying to be a lawyer so we chatted a bit and set up an appointment to meet with him. Any who it was a great intercambio and we definitely learned the things that we need to do differently next time and it was a bit hard to make twice as many plans but it worked out. Then on Wednesday we took them to the train station and then got Hermana Nuñez who was going to stay with me because our companions were going to Malaga to do residency. So it was a bit crazy because I only got to work with Hermana Anderson twice this week. We were able to find some great people this week thanks to members! Yay members! Oh also transfers happened and we are staying together this transfer! Any who this week went by really fast and I'm so excited for this transfer! I love you guys so much!
ginger tea. We made it out alive Tuesday morning and headed to district meeting and then to the train station and Hermana Anderson went to Elche and I waited for Hermana Viglione to come and then we had enough time to drop her stuff off and head to the church for correlation. We were there for a while and by that I mean a while! I decided that we did that have enough time to jump on the bus and make it back for noche de hogar so we went and contacted for a couple of hours and then headed back home after noche de hogar. I loved being able to be with Hermana Viglione again! She is just so sweet and I always feel that I learn from her. I just really wish that her health problems would go away! So the next morning we had lunch with a member from Bulgarian and I'll let you know that Bulgarian food is great! Then we headed down to Elche for the mission conference. We waited for
someone to show up with the keys to set up the TV and gave up and set it up on the iPad until the bishop came right before it stared. It was great and I really learned to focus on the fundamentals. Then on Saturday we had interviews with president. I always love having interviews because it really helps to get rid of all of my worries. This next week is going to be crazy but I'm excited! Thank you for all that ya'll do!
with my companion and I this week. We were walking on our way to a
cita with our investigator and were a little disappointed because we
had been trying to bring a member with us to the lesson because we
knew we couldn't go in if there wasn't a women present (a rule that we
have as missionaries). We had about 15 minutes before the cita so we
decided to stop at an old investigators piso. We were looking for her
piso number when we heard someone calling to us. We looked up and a
member from our ward was walking towards us. She told us that she just
so happened to get off work an hour earlier and would love to come
with us if we had anything set in the next hour. We were speechless!
She ran home quickly to grab a sweater and we were able to have a
great lesson with our friend William and she was able to answer many
of his questions. A couple hours later we were walking down the street
when we ran into a lady that we had met before and started to talk to
her when Hermana Anderson and I glanced up and made eye contact with a
lady that passed by she smiled at us and continued on her way and was
about to turn the corner when she turned around and asked if we were
Mormons we told her yes and she began to tell us how she had been
baptized about a year ago and had stopped coming to church because of
problems that were happening in her home. She told us how she felt
that she needed to talk to us and wanted to start coming back to
church. These experiences were just such a testament to me that the
Lord really does place people in our paths. Some other highlights of
the week was a wonderful lesson with some new friends that told us
that they would ask God if these things are true. I feel that some of
the best lessons that I've had out here our the ones where I have
learned something myself while teaching. Our friend William was also
able to come to church this week and was instantly attacked with love
by the JAS(young adults). We were also able to have intercambios with
Elche(my old area) I just loved being able to see some of my old
investigators and their progress and of course to be with the lovely
Hermana Olsen. At consejo they talked about changing the way we do
intercambios and would like us to have the Hermanas come with us to
our area instead of one of us going to their area. The selfish part of
me was a little bit sad because I love being able go see other others
but I think it'll be a good change . Last Week I didn't really have the
chance to talk about consejo. Consejo is a meeting that is held at the
beginning of every month. We drove down to Malaga with the Murcia Zone
leaders and arrived 6 hours later and only stopped in Granada for a
bit to eat. I love road tripping! The meeting was all night and we
took a break to sleep and then continued the next morning. I love
being able to discuss with other missionaries ways we can help each
other and other missionaries. These last couple of weeks have been
pretty hard with the passing of my grandpa but I have so blessed to
have the love and support of my companion and leaders out here in the
mission. I know that even though my grandpa has passed on I will have
the chance to see him again. I am so grateful that the pain and
hardships that we face are not permanent and we have a savior that
gives us this hope. I hope that all of you are doing well. I love you
all!
the Hermanas. We got there and spent a good thirty minutes trying to find their piso and ended up asking a man on the street who happened to be their neighbor. So we got there and they were waiting for us with dinner. They are both just so sweet. So we woke up the next morning and jumped in the car with the elders from Murcia and road tripped to Malaga and ended up there 5 hours later. We had consejo that night and the next morning. It was so great to have the opportunity to help set goals for the upcoming year. We headed back to Murcia with packages for people in our zone and had a nice man help us and found out we were on the wrong train but managed to jump off right as he doors
closed.

Love you guys. So this week passed too quickly! On Sunday our Ward Mission
Leader invited us over to learn how to make paella. So look out world
I'm going to be a paella making pro soon. Tuesday we had district
meeting like normal and then we had intercambios with the Hermanas of
Albacete. So I got to stay in Alicante so we decided to start
something with members where instead of just taking them to go to citas
with us , we would take them specifically to contact people. And
man did we see miracles! I love seeing the excitement that members
have and new missionaries. Wednesday was New Years and so we where out
and about for a while but not a ton of success because people were
celebrating the new year. So we went in and made a lot of goals for
the new year. It was really strange for me to realize that a year ago
I was in the mission. It really gave me time to reflect on everything
that has happened this past year. I am so grateful that I've had this
year to be a missionary. I have been able to have so many experiences
that I could not have had if I had not made the choice to come out
here. I feel that I have learned so much but something that I've
really found is that I have so much more to learn. Sorry if this is a
bit short but I love all of you! Thank you for everything that you
guys have done!

Hermana Evelo
This week started out normal with emailing and what not on Monday and then on Tuesday is when we Hermana Anderson and I had to practice on our instruments because we were going to be part of a flash mob on Wednesday along with our normal being out and about talking to the people of Spain. For lunch we had an eating cita with some members and it so happened that their niece was there visiting them for vacation and we shared the Christmas video. At the end she told us that she didn't have very much religious background and asked us if Mary was the mother of Jesus. We explained to her a bit more about Christ and she said that even though she won't be here for very long that she would like to learn more. On Sunday her aunt told us that she gave her a Book of Mormon and asked us to come over again to talk to her again. I love being able to teach people that have the simple desire to learn. That night we went to noche de hogar at church and then straight to the train station to pick up the Hermana's from Albacete so they could come to the zone conference with us. We made it home with 10 minutes to spare and so we went out and contacted some people that did not have very much Christmas spirit but I usually don't understand swearing which makes it a bit easier to just smile at them and tell them to have a good night. That next morning we went to the train station and jumped on a train to Murcia. The conference started out with a talent show and there was no shortage of talent from singing to yo-yoing to my companions amazing violining. Then we all ran through once how we were going to do the flash mob in a plaza in Murcia. We got there and Hermana Anderson started by herself on the violin, then an Elder and I came in on violin and flute and then other missionaries added voice little by little. It was a great experience to see the people as they little by little stopped to listen to even though they had places to go and were probably busy. When will I ever have the opportunity to testify of the Savior through music in a plaza in Spain? Then we went back heard from our mission president and ate some delicious paella. Then next day we woke up and worked some more and then had a great adventures that involved getting lost and walking a couple miles to get home. Then Christmas! Christmas was jam packed of food.. We started out with having breakfast with the missionaries in Alicante and a gift exchange and then heading to have lunch with a member who lives out in the country. They didn't have enough space to take us in their car so they drove us out in their camper. After making it back to Alicante I got to Skype with my family which was great and then Hermana Anderson and I headed to bed. I woke up that morning feeling terrible and spent the day in a mountain of blankets. Thank goodness I have a great companion who is willing to take care of me. I love being able to be here in the mission for Christmas and share such an amazing gift with everyone. Thank you for all that ya'll do!

Hey! Welcome to the last week of the awkward 4 week transfer. So to recap on the changes going on here. Hermana Anderson went to Fuengirola two weeks ago and it's been Hermana Jones and I but now that it's the end of the transfer, its time for her to go back to America! It's going to be hard with out her but the good news is that Hermana Anderson comes back here to Alicante with me this week! So last Wednesday we had a zone conference in Murcia which is about an 1.5 train ride. It was great and we got to hear from Elder Leimer who is over missionary work in Europe and then eat some delicious paella. We then ran to the train station, missed our train, and finally made it home and worked a couple of hours and then woke up early the next morning for consejo. So we ran to the train station to Murcia again to meet the zone leaders who drove us to Malaga. 5 hours later we arrived in Malaga late to the meeting but I still got to see everyone in Malaga that I know! I just love the people I've been able to meet out here in the mission; they are incredible! So after a short meeting we went to spend the night with the Fuengirola Hermanas which was a party because Hermana Anderson was there and Hermana Carmen who I love! Then next morning we couldn't leave until a bit later because the elders had to take the car in to have the tires changed which was fine with us because we didn't want to have a problem with the tires in the middle of no where. So somewhere between all the traveling and craziness we managed to go teach and find some awesome new people. Something that I learned this week is that life is so much less stressful if we follow what Heavenly Father has planned instead of trying to make things harder and take everything upon ourselves. I know that any good that I've been able to do out here is because God has allowed me to be a part of this work and not because of any of my own efforts. I love being here and I'm so excited for this season to share the message that a savior is born!
The week started out with an great noche de hogar at a members house. I always love sharing a message with the members because you get to hear their conversion stories and testimonies. We had an amazing lesson with our friend Edward who is atheist but who told us that he wants to believe in God. Wednesday we were asked to give a taller(workshop) to the district leaders which was terrifying but with Hermana Jones there is no need to fear because it turned out pretty good. On Thursday Hermana Jones and I made mashed potatoes for all the missionaries in Alicante for Thanksgiving. We thought that an entire bag of potatoes would be sufficient but they disappeared within seconds. It was a pretty great Thanksgiving filled with bastante food! This week was filled with birthdays... We celebrated 4 birthdays this week so everyone had plenty of practice by the time mine came around Saturday. Hermana jones tried really hard to keep it a surprise complete with a fake cita and everything. Though my birthday was great I think my favorite part of this week was meeting with our investigator Liam. He was someone in our phone that we called by accident and told us that he wanted to meet . We went by with a member and had an amazing lesson. We also invited him to church and said that he would come. That next morning we woke up and saw that we had a missed call from him. We called hoping that he wasn't going to cancel and lo and behold he didn't! He just wanted to make sure he had the right directions. Even though the lessons that day at church were a bit confusing everyone was so kind to him and went up and introduced themselves to him. I love how we have such welcoming people in our ward. Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes! I hope that all of you had a great Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for this Gospel! This week while studying I noticed that when most people here think of the word faith they think of it as something that is unsure and unsteady but when we hear the word faithful we think of someone who is constant, steady and unwavering. What a difference this -ful makes in the mind of people. May we all be more full of faith everyday. I hope that people can see the consistency and happiness that the Gospel as brought to me and how important it is to have faith in our Savior. I love you all! Have a great week!
Wow, already we are nearing the end of November! Time passes by so quickly! This week started out with us having a surprise birthday party for Hermana Anderson of p day. We tried to keep it a secret but it didn't work out very well because Hermana Jones and I aren't very secretive but all in all it worked out. On Tuesday we had district meeting like normal and then had intercambios with the other Hermanas in Alicante. So on Thursday we where on our way to an eating cita when we got a call from president asking Hermana Anderson if she could go down to Fuengirola for a couple of weeks for an emergency transfer but that she would come back at the end of the transfer. So right now it's just Hermana Jones and I. We went Friday morning to drop Hermana Anderson off at the bus station and then I got on the train to go do intercambios with Elche. It was great because I got to go with Hermana Jenkins and spend the day in my old area. I love going on intercambios because I get the chance to learn how others missionaries work and I learn so much from them. I am so blessed to be around so many amazing people. Have an amazing week!

I of course tried to haul everything off when I heard the signal that the doors were about to close. I started to panic because my other suitcase was still on the train. The elders where ran towards me and quickly jumped on the train and grabbed my suitcase menos mal! I then met with Hermana Jones and Anderson! We went and dropped my stuff off and then headed off to consejo. The next day we had intercambios with the Elche Hermanas and so I got to be with the wonderful Hermana Brown. Then Saturday we went to a stake relief society activity where Hermana Anderson and I played the music.(she is an amazing violin player) . After wards we ate some delicious paella with the ward and then headed off to work. We had an amazing experience this week when we went to teach a investigator we went in and invited his roommates to join us. One of them only spoke French, the other Chinese and our investigator English and Spanish. So what did we do well Hermana jones begins to teach the Chinese lady using a combination of pictures and Google translate and Hermana Anderson a I took on the other two. I was surprised how much of my French I remembered and we where able to answer his questions by the end we all managed to explain to each of them the Book of Mormon the all said the would pray about it. Is was challenging but so amazing! These parts couple of days have been crazy and jam packed but I can't overemphasize how amazing Hermana Jones and Anderson are! They are such great missionaries and have already learned so much from them! I know I always say that I love the mission but I really do and I love the change that the gospel brings.
We had a lesson with our investigators Cote and Maria and taught them the Restoration. We finished the lesson and told them that they could pray to know that these things are true and cote straight up told us that he knows these things are true and that he doesn't even have to pray about it. They are both amazing and have so much faith! We also had a great lesson with Katy who has seemed to hit a road block and hasn't been progressing very much and so we decided to bring a member who had a lot of her same doubts before she was baptized. It was amazing to see the change that Katy had in that lesson as they talked about her doubts and the member bore her testimony about the church. Having so many members come with us has really shown me how important it really is to have them present and so the investigators can see that there are people in the church just like them that have had the same doubts and struggles and its not just some crazy 20 year olds telling her to do stuff. So of course Hermana Jenkins and I felt that we had really hit a groove and so I should have seen this coming... I received a call again from the President. I was taken completely by surprise because we were only half way into Hermana Jenkins training and I expected to have more time to get to know Elche. I had really grown to love Elche so much but I was called to move about 30 minutes away to the city of Alicante and be a Sister Training Leader also known as a SHE (Super Hermana Entrenadora). You may ask what in the world are you talking about? Well, it basically means that... I actually have no clue really to be honest. I'll let you'll know when I know... I just know that I feel a bit under qualified. I'm going to be with the lovely Hermana Jones and Anderson. Who were my SHE's. That's right, I'm going to be in a trio because Hermana Jones goes home in 4 weeks. A trio of SHE's so a Shrio? I know that these changes are for a reason and that the Lord qualifies who he calls. I'm excited to go and work with Hermana Jones and Anderson! I know that this will be an amazing opportunity to learn from the best of the best. I love being here on the mission and each day that goes by I realize how much I love the people of Spain and being a missionary. This gospel can and does change lives. Live it and love it people!

Have a great week!
And another week has passed and here we are again! This past week Hermana Jenkins and I were blessed to find some some amazing people. We were trying to find a Menos Activo when this lady, pushing an elderly lady, comes up behind us. I started to talk to her because she looks a lot like mom. We talked for a bit and the elderly lady invites us to come up but the other lady says maybe another day and they went inside. A couple of days later we where passing by and we saw them again. They invited us up and we talked to her about her beliefs and the Book of Mormon. She said that she would pray about it and read it! She has a lot of potential and already believes a lot of the same things as us. My only complaint is that it's the time of year where the rain starts to poor down. Sorry this was short but I love Elche and I hope that I can stay here for as long as possible!

Spark notes of what happened this week. We started out with district meeting and the week was filled with an abundance of eating citas. The members here are amazing and so loving! We also had a bit of craziness because this week was Stake Conference and interviews with the President so we went to Alicante and stayed there to watch conference. It was of course great and really just pounded into my head that we need to do our part and not just wait for God to do everything. Experience of this week starts on a Tuesday night. It was a Tuesday night like any other Tuesday night when we received a call from the other Hermanas in Elche they told us that they had set an appointment to meet with a man on the street and were headed to his house when they discovered he was in our area so we ran over to the appointment to meet him. He opened the door and we talked in the door way since his wife was not home. We told him that next time we will come when his wife was home but he said that she wouldn't want to talk to us. We were about to read to him Moroni's promise in the Book of Mormon when we heard his wife come into the apartment building. Hermana Jenkins and I started to freak out a little because he said that she would not be happy that we where there. We turn to go down the stairs when the elevator opens and his wife steps out. She then proceeds to give us the biggest smile and invite us in and tells us of how she had been talking to her friend about difficult things that are happening in his life but how happy they were because of there faith and how she had been thinking that she wanted more faith in her life when she saw us. We taught both her and her husband about the Book of Mormon and they both said that they would read and pray to know if it is true. I know that there are people that are prepared to hear the Gospel and I'm so blessed that I have the chance to teach them. I love being here in the mission and everyday I wish that I could stay even longer her in Spain.

Trio time! So this week was a little bit different because Hermana Viglione had to go to Malaga for residency and so we had Hermana Brown with us for the week! It was pretty crazy trying to work around the traveling times and working in their area a bit too. Then on Friday we had zone meeting with our huge zone of Alicante. We had to catch an early train back home because its festivals so the train schedule was messed up so us and Hermana Viglione and Brown went and had all you could eat pizza... We each ate an entire pizza... So awesome experience of this week is our investigator Sam. Sam has had a really difficult life and because of that he is very cynical. We decided to show him the Restauracion movie and when it started he began to right down the things he didn't agree with but as the movie went on he wrote less and less and finally but down his pen and paper. When the movie finished he told us how he felt so peaceful and calm. The next day he called us and said that he had watched it again. He is a great guy but just needs to learn that God is their and that he loves him. I know that if we want to know that he we will answer! Have a great week!

I always feel like I repeat myself but this week has been
crazy. Hermana Gale and I woke up early Monday morning and drug all of
our luggage on the bus to ciudad real and then later jumped on a train
to Malaga. We made it there and ran to the capilla but still missed
the trainers training so we walked to the SHE's apartment and spent
the night and woke up the next morning and worked with Hermana Perez.
We all walked back to the capilla later because we thought that I
didn't have to be there till 1 to pick up my trainee but I soon
discovered that I was actually late as I walked in and everyone might
or might not have stared at me because I walked in 30 minutes late... Well
can't fix that. So I then met Hermana Jenkins my new trainee! She's
from Utah and super sweet so no complaints! We then jumped on a train
to Fuengirola because there wasn't enough space for everyone to stay
in the mission home. The next morning we went back to Malaga picked up
all my luggage and then caught our bus to Elche. It was great because
I found out that Hermana Viglione is also going to Elche along with 6
Elders. 8 hours later we made it to Elche and managed to find our piso
and buy food and then we went out to contact until English class. The
rest of the week was basically spent going around trying to find out
who the investigators are, who is who. And then the best part of the
week was of course general conference. I feel so blessed that we have
a living prophet and apostles and I love the opportunity I have to
learn about the gospel everyday. I know that this church is true and
that I'm so blessed to have the chance to teach people about it! Thank
you all so much for being such great examples to me! Stay sweet!
So this week has been crazy so hold onto your seats! This week we decided to make a ton of cookies again for the activity that we were going to have on Sunday to watch a movie called Meet the Mormons. Obviously this was a bad idea because the cookies slowly disappeared throughout the week. We had a pretty lesson filled week and it was great! It's been so nice to see the progress that has happened in valdepeñas and I love it because it really does show that of your working hard the blessing will come even though it might not be in the moment they will come. The big news came Friday night when we received a call from President Andersen. He told us that he wanted to call us because this transfer was going to be crazy for the both of us. Hermana Gale and I are both leaving Valdepeñas and Elders are going to come. Hermana Gale is going down south to open up an area and I'm going to Elche to open an area and Im also going to be training again. Surprise! In all honesty I'm pretty nervous but I know that this is happening for a reason and I know that I can do it as long as trust in the Lord but the nervousness is definitely there! It was really hard to say goodbye to the members and our investigators. Even though I wasn't in valdepeñas very long I really love this place! On Sunday we had a nice tearful and emotional activity but it was a great way to end the transfer and to leave this wonderful place! Thanks for your emails and letters! Keep em coming!
start! On Monday we had a great lesson with one of our Menos Activas.
I love seeing how the spirit works on people and how they can
change. During the lesson she told us about things that she had done
in here past and how she felt that God doesn't want to hear from her.
I felt so privileged to let her know that our Heavenly Father wants to
hear her and loves her. She is so sweet and gave us a big bag of
grapes! So this week we decided to go to one of our pueblos to visit
some old investigators and found this gypsy family and by that I mean
we went into the house with 12 people and taught them. They where so
sweet and told us the next time we came over they would cook us
Romanian food! And like always I run out of time to write but a
couple last second things. So this week we've eaten around three
melons because one of investigators gives us a melon every time we
have a lesson. Everyone gave us fruit this week but I'm definitely not
complaining. I love being out here and having the chance to have all
of this experiences!
Have a great week!
